PURPOSE: An output method for converting outline font data into triangular mesh data in 3D graphic hardware is provided to immediately output the font data as input data through graphic hardware acceleration. CONSTITUTION: A set of straight lines and spline curves stored in an outline font is converted into a polygon comprised with the set of lines. Mesh data with triangular basic units are generated by using the converted font information(470). The generated mesh data are immediately outputted in 3D acceleration graphic hardware. The mesh data are read after being stored in a file(480,490).
