<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that can detect whether predetermined information is recorded in an area different from a predetermined recording area. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus includes: a storage part 110 including a plurality of segmented areas including a reserving area predetermined as an area where any information is not written, and a recording area that is an area other than the reserving area; a recording part 102 for recording information in the recording area; a reading part 103 for reading information from the reserving area when the information is recorded in the recording area; a determining part 104 for determining whether the read information coincides with a predetermined value; and an outputting part 105 for outputting an error when determined that the read information does not coincide with the predetermined value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
