PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve precision in correction of deviation (imbalance amount) between an in-phase component and an orthogonal component, with no increase in circuit size and manufacturing cost of a radio receiver.
SOLUTION: The radio signal is converted to digital I signal Di and digital Q signal Dq through an antenna 11, a low noise amplifier 12, an orthogonal demodulation part 13, and analogue-digital converters 141 and 142. Respective signals are used to calculate first and second power expectation values by a first power expectation value calculation part 151 and a second power expectation value calculation part 152. A correlation value calculation part 153 calculates correlation values of the digital I signal and the digital Q signal. The first and second power expectation values and correlation values are used to calculate a correction parameter by a correction parameter generating part 154. A correction part 16 performs primary conversion calculation using the correction parameter, to correct IQ imbalance of the digital I signal and digital Q signal, for generating a correction I signal and a correction Q signal. A demodulation part 17 demodulates the correction I signal and the correction Q signal, for generating a demodulation signal.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
