PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provie a ferrite particle which has not only a high magnetic characteristic but also a high strength.

SOLUTION: The ferrite particle includes the material expressed by the compositional formula MnXFe3-XO4(0≤X<1) as a principal ingredient and includes an Si element and an Al element, and is characterized in that the peak intensity ratio of the Si element to the Fe element by energy dispersive X-ray analysis is in the range of 1.0×10-3-1.5×10-1and the peak intensity ratio of the Al element to the Fe element is in the range of 8.0×10-4-6.0×10-3.
