<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video display apparatus that maintains a conventional restriction on reproduction of content from a broadcast wave of a different standard such as a frame rate and disables such restriction when reproducing video data using IP telephone. <P>SOLUTION: The video display apparatus comprises: a data inputting unit for inputting content including first video data; a network telephone unit for sending and receiving call information including second video data with an information processing apparatus connected via a network; a restricting unit F for preliminarily setting a specified value of a predetermined item so as to restrict reproduction of the first video data; and a video processing unit that restricts, when a value of the predetermined item of the first video data input by the data inputting unit deviates from the specified value by the restricting unit F when the network telephone unit is inactive, reproduction of the first video data, and disables, when the network telephone unit is active, such restriction restricted by the restricting unit F. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
