摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photoelectric conversion element suitable for a solar battery or the like comprised of compound semiconductor, which can reduce the usage of rare metal such as In, and can obtain high photoelectric conversion efficiency without depending on a vacuum process expensive in manufacturing cost. <P>SOLUTION: A photoelectric conversion element includes a light absorbing layer made of a compound containing at least copper, zinc and sulfur.
