<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating composition that can provide a water-repellent film capable of maintaining a water-repellent performance for a long period of time; and to provide a method of producing the same. <P>SOLUTION: This invention relates to the coating composition that contains a fluororesin, hydrophobic silica particles, a water-soluble inorganic salt, and an organic solvent. The coating composition can be produced by mixing the fluororesin and the hydrophobic silica particles with the organic solvent, then subjecting the mixture to high-pressure dispersion process, further mixing the resultant composition with the water-soluble inorganic salt and subjecting the obtained mixture to high-pressure dispersion process. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
