<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To resolve problems with phosphorescent emitters which may include forming a device capable of injecting a proper ratio of holes and electrons into an emitting layer, using materials that allow exciton quenching, including organic materials which have low conductivity and other characteristics that reduce efficiency of the device. <P>SOLUTION: The efficiency of the injection of electrons and holes into an emitting material of an OLED is improved by adding a matching layer on one or both sides of the light emitting layer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
