<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wheel bearing device capable of being inexpensively machined in an environment friendly manner. <P>SOLUTION: This wheel bearing device comprises: a bearing 2 including a plurality of rows of rollers 30 arranged between each of outer races 26 and 27 and each of inner races 28 and 29 opposing each other; a hub ring 1 mounted on the wheel; and a constant velocity universal joint 3. The inner race 28 on the outboard side is formed on an outer diameter face of the hub ring 1. The inner race 29 on the inboard side is formed on an inner ring 24 fitted to the inboard side of the outer diameter face of the hub ring 1. A seal land 51 or the inner race 28 on the outer diameter face of the hub ring 1 is formed with such hardened steel cutting that it is hardened and then cut and with surface roughness improving work finish. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
