<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a relay connection unit capable of relaying messages between different onboard LANs as fast as possible. <P>SOLUTION: A relay connection unit includes relay processing means that is connected to a first port and a second port. The relay processing means includes a first buffer and a second buffer disposed between a first reception part and a first transmission part that are connected to the first port and a second reception part and a second transmission part that are connected to the second port. The message received by the first port is stored in the first buffer, sequentially from a part thereof that can be stored, when at least a part of the received message is stored in the first buffer, the stored message can be transmitted from the second port; and the message received by the second port is sequentially stored in the second buffer every time receiving a prescribed length, and from the part stored in the second buffer the message can be transmitted from the first port. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
