PURPOSE: An apparatus which controls failure occurrence of a UPS(Uninterruptible Power Supply) is provided to check UPS failure in real time. CONSTITUTION: A UPS system comprises a net agent using an SNMP(Simple Network Management Protocol) protocol. A management server is connected to the UPS system through a network. The management server comprises a trap receiver, a DB processor, and an SMS(Short Message Service) process. The trap receiver receives a trap signal from the net agent. The SMS processor requests SMS transmission to an SMS server. The SMS server transfers SMS by receiving the request from the management server.
