LATERAL FLOW TEST STRIP

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lateral flow test strip which prevents biomolecule markers from accumulating at the interface between a conjugate pad and a membrane.

SOLUTION: A lateral flow test strip comprises: a conjugate pad in which a marked first molecule to be combined with a target is retained to a composite fiber material composed of glass fiber and organic polymer fiber; and a membrane which is connected to the conjugate pad and provided with a determination part having an immobilized second biomolecule for capturing a composite containing the marked first biomolecule and the target. The composite fiber material has a water suction time of 20 to 70 seconds to a height of 4 cm from the water level in a vertical direction by capillary force. The difference in the water suction time to a height of 4 cm from the water level in a vertical direction by capillary force between the conjugate pad and the membrane is 220 seconds or less.
