<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing device capable of obtaining a monochrome image which is more preferable to monochrome reading while reducing a reader cost by reducing the number of sensors and the number of read images. <P>SOLUTION: An image processing device comprises: reading color selection means (101) for specifying a reading color when a document is read; image reading means (102) for selecting a color of a light source according to the reading color specified by the reading color selection means (101) and reading one or a plurality of image signals; image storage means (103) for storing the data read by the image reading means (102); and monochrome image generation means (104) for generating a monochrome image using a composition method for the color selected by the reading color selection means (102) when a plurality of images are stored in the image storage means (103). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
