<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple temperature indicating material including a temperature indicating material composed of a compound with a hue shown according to temperature without including mercury of a poisonous metal. <P>SOLUTION: Prepared are: a temperature indicating material including a visible light response type phosphor having temperature dependence of fluorescent brightness which varies depending on temperature, and represented by a general formula of (Ca<SB POS="POST">1-x</SB>Sr<SB POS="POST">x-y</SB>Eu<SB POS="POST">y</SB>) SiS<SB POS="POST">3</SB>, where 0.3>x>0.015, 0.2>y>0.005 and x-y>0, and a transparent resin; and a kneaded body composed of the visible light response type phosphor represented by a general formula of (Ca<SB POS="POST">1-x</SB>Sr<SB POS="POST">x-y</SB>Eu<SB POS="POST">y</SB>) SiS<SB POS="POST">3</SB>, where 0.3>x>0.015, 0.2>y>0.005 and x-y>0, and the transparent resin. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
