<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an abnormality detection method for a pressure tank, capable of accurately detecting the abnormality of a pressure tank such as a drop of sealing pressure, and to provide a water supply device having a function to detect the abnormality of the pressure tank. <P>SOLUTION: During a time from when a pump of the water supply device is stopped till when it is restarted, a pressure difference P<SB POS="POST">F</SB>'-P<SB POS="POST">S</SB>' between a discharge side pressure P<SB POS="POST">F</SB>' of the pump at a first time point t<SB POS="POST">F</SB>and a discharge side pressure P<SB POS="POST">S</SB>' of the pump at a second time point t<SB POS="POST">S</SB>is calculated, and the pressure difference P<SB POS="POST">F</SB>'-P<SB POS="POST">S</SB>' is compared with a predetermined reference pressure difference. When the pressure difference P<SB POS="POST">F</SB>'-P<SB POS="POST">S</SB>' is the reference pressure difference or greater, the occurrence of abnormality in the pressure tank is determined. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
