<p>The present invention relates to a method for cleaving a plate-like glass member by discharging electricity to a surface of the plate-like glass member towards a line to cleave on the plate-like glass member, and scanning electric discharge along the line to cleave, wherein the temperature around a peak temperature (glass peak temperature) at the surface of the plate-like glass member is measured, and based on the measured temperature the electric discharge output is controlled.</p> |
