The heat insulating material has a thermal insulation material (14) with an activated binding- or a cross linking agent, particularly wetted, coated or impregnated with the binding- or a cross linking agent. The thermal insulation material is formed as fibers, flakes, springs or particles. The binding- or cross linking agent is activated by applying pressure, heat application, catalyst or activation agent exposure, or contact with water or water vapor. The springs are formed by a molding process from fibrous or shredded recycled-, natural- or plastic raw material. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) a building brick with two chambers separated by bars; and (2) a method for manufacturing building brick.
