The valve train has camshaft bearings (2, 3) rotatably mounted on a camshaft (1), where the camshaft is provided with an axially displaceable sliding cam (5). A sliding sleeve (15) is axially displaceable on the camshaft and mounted between the camshaft and the sliding cam. Bearing sleeves (8) are fixed on side portions of the sliding sleeve, and the camshaft bearings are axially displaceable with respect to the bearing sleeves. The bearing sleeves are connected to the camshaft by pressing. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a valve train.
