PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new sensitizer for a photopolymerization, excellent in solubility in a monomer and bleed resistance. SOLUTION: This new 9,10-bis(2-(meth)acryloxyalkoxy)anthracene compound obtained by (meth)acrylating a 9,10-bis(2-hydoxyalkoxy)anthracene compound obtained by the addition reaction of 9,10-dihydroxyanthracene compound with an alkylene oxide is used as the sensitizer of the photopolymerization.
