<p>The implant (30) has a joint surface replacement implant (32), and a fastening device for fixing the replacement implant in a joint gap of a facet joint of a human or animal vertebral column (10). The fastening device has two fastening elements (40) projecting from the replacement implant. The fastening elements comprise a fixing element through hole in an area of a free end. A fixing element (50) is guided through the through hole, where free ends of the fixing element are connected with one another.
