<p>The method involves transmitting configuration data sets from a configuration device to a mobile terminal (2), where the sets are contained with terminal-specific data for the terminal. Information i.e. device management trees, about functions supported by the terminal, applications and/or serviced are read by a device checker (7) and a device management server (8) from the terminal via a communication connection (27). The terminal-specific data about the functions, the applications and/or the services are retrieved from the server. One of the sets is produced from the retrieved data.</p> |
