<p>The invention concerns a method for amplification of a signal (SA) using a processing means (PM) with at least two modulators (MOD1-MODN) , and using at least one switching power amplifier (SPA1-SPAN) , wherein the signal (SA) is processed in said processing means (PM) resulting in modulated input signals (SD1-SDN) for said at least one switching power amplifier (SPA1-SPAN) , said modulated input signals (SD1-SDN) are generated in such a way, that they have a higher correlation for the in-band part of the spectrum than for the out-of-band part of the spectrum, said modulated input signals (SD1-SDN) are amplified in the at least one switching power amplifier (SPA1-SPAN) resulting in output signals, and said output signals are combined resulting in an amplified copy of the signal, and an amplifying device therefor.</p> |
