<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polarizing plate having excellent stability with time even under a severe heat and humidity condition. <P>SOLUTION: The cellulose acylate has a glucopyranose ring in which one of hydroxides in 2-, 3- and 6-position is substituted by acylate. The method of manufacturing the cellulose acylate film includes a casting step of: casting the cellulose acylate in which substitution degree (S6) of hydroxide in 6-position by acyl is ≥0.87 and ≤0.97 and a polymer solution containing ≤35 mass% plasticizer on a base material to form a web; a heat treatment step of: stripping the web formed in the casting step from the base material and after that, heat treating the web in which a residual solvent is ≥5 mass% and ≤30 mass% at ≥160°C and ≤200°C for ≥1 min and ≤120 min. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
