<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polarizing plate which is made thin in thickness and satisfies durability. <P>SOLUTION: The polarizing plate contains a polyvinyl alcohol-based polarizer and transparent protective films applied via adhesive layers on both surfaces of the polarizer. The transparent protective film comprises a (meth)acrylic resin having a glutarimide unit and a (meth)acrylate unit. The thickness T1 (μm) of the transparent protective film as a single sheet ranges from 10 to 35 μm; and a proportion (T2/T1) of the thickness T2 (μm) of the polarizer with respect to the thickness T1 (μm) of a single sheet of the protective film satisfies a range of 0.8 to 1.8. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
