Service parameter interworking method

There is described an approach to service parameter interworking to achieve a service parameter exchange between a network using a circuit-oriented protocol and a network using a packet-oriented protocol. Further, circuit-switched service parameters are received at an interworking node (10) from the network using the circuit-oriented protocol or packet-switched service parameters from the network using the packet-oriented protocol. Then, circuit-switched service parameters being related to service differentiation in the network using the circuit-oriented protocol are mapped to packet-switched service parameters used for service differentiation in the network using packet-oriented protocol or vice versa in the interworking node (10). Payload data is forwarded between the different networks using the mapping result.
