The device has glue nozzles (15a,15b) for applying glue to wrapping web materials (11a,11b). The controlled adjusting units perform controlled adjustment of the glue nozzles in lateral direction to the wrapping web materials. A control unit (20) is coupled mechanically with the adjusting units for controlling the adjusting units independently. An independent claim is included for method for gluing wrapping web material in tobacco processing machine.
