The invention relates to a wipe dispensing container 1 for a pack of wipes X. The container 1 has a front wall 2 having an aperture 3 through which wipes Y can be dispensed, side walls 4A,4B,4C,4D which extend from the front wall, and a rear wall 6 pivoted to the side walls and which moves from a first closed position abutting the side walls to a second open position. The container further comprises a compression plate 10 slidable within the side walls towards and away from the front wall 2, a movement means 14, 15 to move the compression plate 10 away from the front wall 2 when the rear wall 6 is in the second position to allow the pack of wipes X to be inserted between the compression plate 10 and the front wall 2, and a biasing means 11A,11B,11C,11D, which may be a spring, to bias the compression plate 10 towards the front wall 2. |
