<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control apparatus for an outboard motor provided with a transmission and configured to improve fuel economy by limiting drive of a hydraulic pump. <P>SOLUTION: In the outboard motor control apparatus provided with the transmission which is interposed to a power transmission shaft (propeller shaft) between an internal combustion engine and a propeller, has a two-speed hydraulic clutch, establishing speeds including at least a first speed and a second speed, and transmits the output of the internal combustion engine to the propeller while changing the speed through a gear shift clutch, whether the transmission is in a neutral position or not is determined S10, and when the second speed is established, and the transmission is determined to be in the neutral position, the operation of the transmission is controlled so that the gear position is changed from the second speed to the first speed S68. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
