The method involves receiving a temporal index i.e. date, to locate beginning and end of a portion of a stored multimedia content contained in a multimedia stream broadcast, where the index is set after beginning of broadcast of the portion. The located portion is restored from one position to another position in the content by a restoration module (AFF), where the positions are derived from the index. The index is defined by elapsed time of the broadcast with respect to predetermined time or by number of frames calculated with respect to a predetermined frame of the content. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a device for accessing a stored multimedia content from a multimedia stream broadcast (2) a computer program product comprising a set of instructions to execute a method for accessing a stored multimedia content from a multimedia stream broadcast. |
