THE METHOD FOR PREPARATION OF MG ALLOY SHEET USING DIFFERENT SPEED ROLLING AND MAGNESIUM ALLOY SHEET USING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A magnesium alloy sheet and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to improve ductility by obtaining micronization of crystal grains, inclination toward a base side, and a softened structure through a DSR(differential speed rolling) process. CONSTITUTION: A magnesium alloy sheet manufacturing method using a DSR process comprises the steps of: preparing an alloy sheet including pure magnesium, aluminum ingot, and manganese; heat-treating the alloy sheet at 250-350°C for 20-40 minutes; and processing the alloy sheet through DSR and PWHT(postweld heat treatment).
