PURPOSE: A counterweight for an excavation for facilitating the control of a weight is provided to improve fuel efficiency when an excavator is operated by rapidly and simply controlling the weight of the counterweight. CONSTITUTION: A counterweight(30) for an excavation for facilitating the control of a weight comprises a body(34), an injection valve(36), a discharge pipe(38), and a discharge valve(40). The body has a space(32) for receiving high-density liquid(42) therein. The injection valve is formed on the top surface of the body and is connected to the space. The discharge pipe is formed on the bottom of the body and is connected to the space. The discharge valve is installed on the discharge pipe and discharges high-density liquid to the outside to control the weight of the counterweight. |
