PURPOSE: A mobile TV system and a method for increasing a channel changing speed are provided to analyze a viewing pattern of a user, receive a plurality of broadcast channels, and stores the broadcast channels in a corresponding buffer. CONSTITUTION: A viewing pattern analyzing unit(101) analyzes a viewing pattern. A channel selection control unit(102) selects at least one among broadcast channels. A plurality of demodulators(106,107) receives and demodulates each AV(Audio/Video) data of the selected one broadcast channel. The demodulators store the demodulated AV data in a corresponding demodulator buffer(108,109). If the user changes a broadcast channel, a switching unit(110) outputs corresponding AV data.
