PURPOSE: An e-book service method and a device thereof are provided to output text data of electronic book information by a voice by a request of a user, thereby enabling the blind to understand the content of an electronic book. CONSTITUTION: A user interface module(104) takes charge of interface with a user. A memory unit(102) stores electronic book information made of a background music or image, or moving picture information corresponding to text data and at least one page. A control module(100) checks whether reproduction of the electronic book information is requested through the user interface module. If the reproduction is requested, the control module outputs the image or the moving picture information through a video output module(106).
