PURPOSE: A screw type reinforcing bar coupling device is provided to securely fix a reinforcing bar to a coupler by changing the diameter of a spacer. CONSTITUTION: A screw type reinforcing bar coupling device comprises first and second spiral spacers(10) and couplers. The first and second spiral spacers are coupled to the joint ends of first and second reinforcing bars(1). Screw threads are formed on the inner surfaces of the couplers, and the first and second reinforcing bars are screwed on the couplers to connect the first and second reinforcing bars to each other.
