SENSOR BASED ON REDOX ACTIVE GOLD NANOPARTICLES AND THE SYNTHESIS OF THE SAME

PURPOSE: An electrochemical sensor including a gold nano particle having oxidation-reduction activity and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to improve the electrocatalyst activity of a sol-gel thin film electrode and to enhance detecting sensitivity. CONSTITUTION: An electrochemical sensor is protected by organic thiol system ligand and comprises an electrode. A gold nano particle having oxidation-reduction activity is fixed to the electrode. The gold nano particle is fixed in the inside of sol-gel thin film. The gold nano particle is fixed while being captured in the inside of a sol-gel reticular structure.
