<p>A coating for coating films, which comprises, dissolved in a solvent, polysilazane or a mixture of polysilazanes of the general formula <?in-line-formulae description="In-line Formulae" end="lead"?>-(SiR'R''-NR''')<SUB>n</SUB>-<?in-line-formulae description="In-line Formulae" end="tail"?> wherein R', R'', R''' are the same or different and independently represent hydrogen or an optionally substituted alkyl, aryl or (trialkoxysilyl)alkyl group, where n is an integer and is selected in such a manner that the polysilazane has a number-average molecular weight of from 150 to 150 000 g/mol, and at least one catalyst. The invention also relates to a method for coating films, especially polymer films, to coated films and to film composites.</p> |
