PURPOSE: An electronic device and a 3D image display method are provided to fundamentally prevent ghost due to light, which displays a previous image frame, on a display panel. CONSTITUTION: A display panel(910) alternatively displays a left eye view image and a right eye view image according to a vertical synchronization signal. An active filter(915) includes a shutter. The shutter blocks the displayed left eye view image and the displayed right eye view image. A control unit controls activation of the shutter. The active filter is arranged on a frontal side of the display panel. The shutter is activated by a pixel unit.
