PURPOSE: A film attaching device for a display panel and a method thereof are provided to attach a film to an attaching roller while simultaneously attaching the film to a display panel. CONSTITUTION: A film stage(20) is installed on one side of an attaching roller. The film stage horizontally or vertically moves to transfer a supplied film to the attaching roller. The film stage attaches the film to the attaching roller. A panel stage(30) is installed on the other side of the attaching roller. The panel stage horizontally or vertically moves to transfer a supplied display panel to the attaching roller. The panel stage attaches the film onto the display panel.
