Disclosed is a bracket for a post allowing additional anchoring to better secure the post in the ground. The bracket comprises a body configured to be located at the post with at least two primary projections extending out from the body and up to four secondary projections with a slot extending out from the body. Each primary projection is configured to receive and retain a ground securing pin and each secondary projection configured to receive and retain an end of a tensioning rod. When the bracket is secured at the post and a pin is received and retained in each primary projection, and when the post is viewed in end profile, adjacent pins in adjacent primary projections extend at a right angle to each other.
