PURPOSE: A system and a method for processing image data by using an image signal processor are provided to process image data obtained through an image sensor of a digital imaging device. CONSTITUTION: An image processing pipeline processes a frame of image data by applying demosaicing. The image processing pipeline converts RGB image data into a frame coping with luma and chroma image data. A back-end processing unit(120) receives a frame of the luman and chroma image data. The back-end processing unit processes the luma and chroma image frame by using a feature detection logic or a tone mapping logic.
