Disclosed is substituted piperadine compound of formula (I) where the substituents are as disclosed in the specification. Examples of compound of formula (I) include: 2-chloro-N-{ 4,5-difluoro-2-[1-(4'-fluorobiphenyl-4-ylmethyl)-piperidin-4-yl]-phenyl} -isonicotinamide; 2-chloro-N-{ 4,5-difluoro-2-[1-(4'-fluorobiphenyl-4-ylmethyl)-1-oxy-piperidin-4-yl]-phenyl} -isonicotinamide and 2-chloro-N-[6-chloro-1'-(4'-fluorobiphenyl-4-ylmethyl)-5-methyl-1',2',3',4' ,5',6'-hexahydro-[2,4']bipyridinyl-3-yl]-isonicotinamide. Also disclosed is a method for controlling insects and an insecticidal, acaricidal, nematicidal or molluscicidal composition comprising a compound of formula (I). |
