ANTI-VASCULAR ENDOTHELIAL GROWTH FACTOR ANTIBODIES

An anti-vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) antibody. The antibody comprises the heavy chain hypervariable regions HVR-H1, HVR-H2 and HVR-H3 encoded by SEQ ID NOs: 1, 2 and 3 respectively and the light chain hypervariable regions, HVR-L2 and HVR-L3 encoded by SEQ ID NO: 6 and 7 respectively and the HVR-L1 encoded by SEQ ID NOs: 4 or 5. The antibody can be used for inhibiting angiogenesis or vascular permeability and for the treatment of a tumour, cancer or cell proliferative disorder.
