The circuit-breaker has an insufflation volume placed around a socket. A rod (21) is placed in an electric arc volume (9) along a longitudinal axis of the circuit-breaker. The insufflation volume is connected to a thermal channel. A rotating device i.e. propeller (23), permits to trigger vortex structures in a space through which hot gas i.e. sulfur hexafluoride gas, issued from the electric arc volume escapes. The rotating device is placed concentrically around the longitudinal axis of the circuit-breaker and placed in a rod side exhaust volume (10) and a socket side exhaust volume. |
