The clasp has two arms (7, 8) articulated with respect to one another, and a lever (2) pivoted on a cap (1) by a small pin (3a), where one end (15) of one of the arms is attached to a strand (14) of a bracelet. The lever comprises a bolt (4) pivoted on the cap by another small pin (3b). The bolt engages with a hook (22) fitted to the arm, and blocks the clasp when the clasp is pushed to a closing position. An elastic unit (5) maintains the lever in a non-raised position, and the bolt is engaged with the hook when the lever is not manually activated. The elastic unit is in the form of a plate.
