The device has two pairs of slings (41) e.g. sling chain, where the slings are connected to a set of pivots (14) located on a same lateral side of a bucket (1). A beam (2) includes a set of ears (22) at each end for attaching ends of the slings of same pair, and another set of ears for connecting to a lower end of additional slings (42). The additional slings are hooked together on a single hook of a crane. The beam is formed of two U-shaped sections placed back-to-back in a parallel manner.
