Disclosed is an automatic coin-operated or electronic card-operated washing machine and dryer for helmets to provide improved cleaning. The device consists of a body, which is externally surrounded by a cabin, in which a washing chamber is situated. The washing chamber is the part where all cleaning operations of the helmet take place and is supplied with a gate which is connected thereto. The washing chamber is connected to a brush and spraying mechanism, a wring mechanism and a drying mechanism. A water supply pipe is connected to the machine along with a water discharge pipe, and a water supply electrical flow control valve. An instantaneous water heater heats the water to the desired washing temperature level, and a pressure water pump that, in use, increases the water pressure to the required washing level. An electrical power supply and an electric operation control system (main board) carry out a pre-programmed sequence, and a visual monitor provides indications and selection buttons. A payment card slot or a coin slot, which is placed on the cabin for the insertion of coins or prepaid card, is used to initiate the device's operation.
