A device for urinary catheterisation. The device includes: a catheter (10) having an elongate body (12) provided with a distal tip (16), a proximal end (18), and a drainage channel (14) and a separate guidewire channel (32) extending therethrough. A guidewire (38) extends through the guidewire channel for guiding the catheter upon insertion. A lubrication port is located at or towards the proximal end of the elongate body, the lubrication port comprising a side arm (34) in fluid communication with the guidewire channel for the introduction of a guidewire lubrication fluid into the guidewire channel.
