PURPOSE: A producing method of a salted squid extract containing the abundant amount of functional components, and a composition containing thereof are provided to offer an arteriosclerosis prevention effect to users. CONSTITUTION: A producing method of a salted squid extract containing the abundant amount of functional components comprises the following steps: salting washed, assorted, and cut squid for 1-7 days at 1-40 deg C; washing the salted squid, and mixing the squid with sugar and starch syrup; mixing the sugar-soaked squid with red pepper powder, garlic, ginger, artificial seasoning, and the starch syrup, and aging the mixture at 1-20 deg C for 1-40 days to obtain salted squid product; freezing the salted squid product, and vacuum-freezing the salted squid product; extracting the vacuum-frozen salted squid product with an organic solvent; and separating the obtained extract into the extract and insoluble extraction residues. The insoluble extraction residues are insoluble to polar solvents.
