PURPOSE: A phenyl ring-substituted curcumin derivative is provided to have excellent permeability than existing curcumin, and to have excellent bonding-affinity to B-amyloid(1-42) aggregate. CONSTITUTION: A phenyl ring-substituted curcumin derivative is in chemical formula 1. In chemical formula 1, R1 and R2 is respectively and independently H, OH, alkyl, haloalkyl, alkyloxy, haloalkyloxy, amino, monoalkylamino or dialkylamino, R3 and R4 is independently and independently H, OH, alkyl, haloalkyl, alkyloxy, haloalkyloxy, amino, monoalkyl amino, dialkylamino, halopolyethyleneoxy, halopolyethyleneamino, 11 C monoalkylamino, 11 C dialkylamino, 123 I iodoalkyloxy, 124 I iodoalkyloxy, 125 I iodoalkyloxy, 131 I iodo alkyloxy, 123 I iodopolyethyleneoxy, 124 I iodopolyethyleneoxy, 125 I iodopolyethyleneoxy, 131 I iodo polyethyleneoxy, 18 F fluoropolyethyleneoxy, 18 F fluoroalkyloxy or 18 F fluoropolyethyleneamino.
