<p>The invention relates to a water turbine which can be used as a component of electric hydrogenerators to be employed on rivers courses and which can be adapted to various water falls and flow rates. According to the invention, the water turbine comprises a rotor () having a profiled outline with laterally closed buckets, which can rotate inside an S-shaped housing () by means of a shaft () and some bearings () mounted within some lateral covers () along with which it can form a radially progressively closed volumetric chamber, so that the rotor () has an outline intake with the driving water column in order to take over therefrom the inertia of the rotation constant, and the S-shaped end portion of the housing ensures the water discharge from the turbine.</p> |
